Lucid Body Acting Retreat

ON THE WINGS OF CHANGE

The dance of emotions

At the foot of Mount Etna.

We have reached the fourth year.

A tradition that continues at the summer solstice.
This year, the retreat evolves into a journey dedicated to transformation, where Lucid Body work meets the depth of Indian dance and the physical and emotional language known as rasa.
An invitation to enter fully into the body, to cultivate deep listening and embodied awareness. It’s a journey. Lucid Body allows you to recognize and release emotional blocks stored in the body, while the work on the Rasa guides you toward a more fluid and non-judgmental relationship with your emotions. The result is greater expressive freedom, authenticity, and grounding.

Spend five transformative days in an authentic Sicilian Casolare, immersing yourself in a unique retreat that fuses Lucid Body psychophysical work with rasas and dance. This experience is designed for actors, performers, and seekers who want to unlock the full range of expression while deepening their physical and emotional awareness on stage and on set.

Sophie Löschburg
Certified Lucid Body Instructor

Sophie Löschburg runs the Lucid Body Berlin Acting Studio.

She is fascinated to witness how Lucid Body changes the lifes of her students, for not only it immensly broadens the actors’ range of expression, but the technique also encourages the actors in their personal growth and self-determination. In a profession where people often find themselves at the mercy of external relationships such as with casting agents, directors, theater managers or producers, this becomes an immeasurably important personal quality. Sophie made her first stage appearance at Berlin’s famous Volksbühne at the age of 14. Since, she has worked with Milan Peschel, Schlingensief, Ismael Ivo, Martin Schreier and other renowned directors in over 50 productions in theater, cinema and television. She got nominated as best German actress for Helena in Euripides’ “The women of Troy” in “Deutsche Bühne” 2018.
